Chris BisanzGeneral Manager
Bisanz has over 18 years’ experience in the commercial truck and equipment industry, serving as a new truck sales professional at Peach State Truck Centers in Forest Park, Georgia from 2017 to 2018. Before coming to Peach State, Bisanz worked for MHC Kenworth in Georgia for five years, where he completed his tenure as the District Manager of Truck Leasing. Bisanz’s career has also included positions with People’s United Equipment Finance Corp. and Nextran Truck Center, Inc.
Bisanz is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has been married to his wife Meghan since 2006. The two of them have a three children together—two daughters and a son.
Josh WoodNew Truck Sales Manager
Josh Wood was named Birmingham Freightliner’s Sales Manager in 2014 but has been with the company since 2010. Since joining Peach State, Josh has served as a Fleet Sales Representative and Used Truck Manager / Center Manager for Birmingham Freightliner and SelecTrucks of Alabama.
Josh has spent his entire life around commercial trucks, his family is in the business and Josh started working on the Fuel Island and Wash Bay when he was 16 years old. After college Josh spent nearly 10 years in the Commercial Truck Leasing and Rental Industry working for Penske Trucking Leasing and AUTOW NationaLease.
Josh holds a BA in Economics from The University of Tennessee. He has been married to Becky for 13 years and enjoys his three children, when not at the office you can find him at a little league park where he coaches and sits as a board member on 2 Youth Athletic Associations.
Tony BramlettUsed Truck Sales Manager
Tony Bramlett started at Birmingham Freightliner as the Used Trucks Manager in 2010. Since starting at the dealership his role has included Used Truck Sales, as well as F&I duties.
Tony started in the truck dealer industry in 1986 when he went to work for a Ford Dealer Development store. From there he worked with Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers in Dothan and Mobile, respectively. Prior to coming to Birmingham Freightliner, Tony worked at a Western Star dealer in Huntsville.
Tony graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in the late 70’s with a degree in Natural Sciences and Math.
JD HumphriesService Manager
JD Humphries has been around trucks since he was 13, growing up in a family owned dealership in Tennessee. In 1991 JD joined Smoky Mountain Truck Center where he worked for over 20 years.
As he started out washing trucks and delivering parts, then went into warranty and truck sales, JD eventually became the Parts and Service Director in 2010.
In 2005, JD graduated from the ATD Dealer Academy, and in 2013 joined Birmingham Freightliner as the Service Manager.
JD has been married to his wife Angie for over 20 years, and they have a daughter together.
Johnnie DannerParts Manager
Danner joined the organization from a competitive make in Gainesville, Georgia where he served as the Service Manager from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that Danner worked in motorsports in positions with an NHRA Pro Stock team, ALMS, and Short Track Asphalt.
Growing up in Douglasville, Georgia, Danner graduated from Lanier Technical College where he received a degree in Motorsports Vehicle Technology. While working for MHC Leasing, he worked his way up from apprentice to manager in four and a half years.
Cody SikesBody Shop Manager
Cody Sikes grew up in Hayden, Alabama and took his first job in the industry as a Service Writer at the Peterbilt store in Birmingham in 2013. In 2015, Cody joined Alabama Freightliner in Tuscaloosa as the Operations Manager. After a year in this position, Cody moved over to the Birmingham Freightliner location to be the new Body Shop Manager.
Cody has been married since 2018 to his wife Anna. The two of them have two kids and reside in Odenville, Alabama. In his spare time, Cody enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
David KanuteParts Manager
David Kanute has had a long career in the trucking industry. Since staring out in 1977, David has worked with Volvo Trucks for over 20 years, a Western Star dealership in Huntsville for 15 years and a handful of years in aftermarket parts sales at NLI Truck Sales.
David graduated from Glenn High School in Birmingham, Alabama in 1971 and got his start with Volvo in 1991, his first major job in the industry. He came on board as the parts manager at Alabama Freightliner in 2018.
David has been married to his wife for over 40 years and has one son and one daughter. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
