As of July 1, 2025, Daimler Truck Remarketing (DTR) is reverting the $5K Your Way program to its original format. If you're purchasing a qualifying used truck from SelecTrucks of Alabama, this change is good news.
What’s Changing?
After testing an updated version of the program last year, DTR is bringing back the original—and more flexible—structure. Here’s how it works:
Eligible customers can choose up to two of the following benefits, totaling $5,000:
- Down Payment Match (when financing through the selling dealership)
- Upgraded Select Warranty
- New Tire Purchase Assistance
However, there are a few key conditions to keep in mind:
- The Down Payment Match is only available if you finance through SelecTrucks of Alabama or the selling location.
- If you’re using cash or third-party financing, you won’t be eligible for a discount on the truck price—but you can still apply the $5,000 incentive toward either:
- An Upgraded Select Warranty, or
- New Tire Purchase Assistance
This update comes in response to current market realities—specifically, tighter truck inventory and a drop in warranty upgrade selections.
