150 Years' Fire Service Experience
Jon WymanEmergency Vehicle Sales Manager
Jon has years of management experience in sales and marketing of class 8 and emergency response vehicles, getting his start in 1995. Over the course of his career he has held various senior leadership roles in the industry and has represented a large selection of products, including Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, Ford and Spartan. In addition to his extensive work experience Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Music from Principia College in Elsah, IL.
Jeff CookNew Truck Sales Director
Jeff Cook was named Peach State’s Director of New Truck Sales in 2014, but has been with the company since 2012. Since joining Peach State Jeff has served as a Fleet Sales Representative and General Manager of Thomas Bus Division, along with his new position.
Before Peach State Jeff worked for American LaFrance as the Vice President of their Commercial Truck Division. And prior to that Jeff served as Regional Sales Manager for Heil Environmental Industries. Jeff’s ample sales experience throughout his career has made him an important asset for Peach State, as well as a great leader for his employees.
Jeff holds a BBA in Marketing from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA.
Ron ChevesEmergency Vehicle Sales Representative
Chief Ron began his career over four decades ago when he joined the Pinecroft-Sedgefield FD in his hometown of Jamestown, NC. He then served as a tailboard firefighter with the Rural-Metro Fire Department of East Tennessee for several years before returning to North Carolina. He served the Idlewild VFD for nearly 30 years, holding every rank from firefighter to Chief. Chief Ron has numerous certifications, including the UNC-C Fire & Rescue Management Institute and the NC Fire Chief’s Executive Development Program. He serves on numerous committees and organizational boards, including his County Association, fire museum, and fire and life safety bowl, and sits on NFPA 1720. He currently leads the Red Ribbon courses for the VCOS section of the IAFC. Ron joined Peach State Truck Centers in 2019 and serves the South Carolina market for Peach State Emergency Vehicles.
Mike FlowersEmergency Vehicle Sales Representative
Mike has served in the fire service industry since the mid-1980s—as a career firefighter, and in the service and sales of fire apparatus. Early on, Mike served as a Firefighter/EMT, Paramedic and Shift Captain. He was heavily involved with hazmat response teams on the local, state and federal levels. Mike worked for three and a half years with the Douglas County Fire Department where he achieved the rank of lieutenant, and eventually made his way to Cobb County where he worked for 28 years. In 2014, Mike retired from Cobb County to switch gears for a quick moment, helping his wife get her online training business off the ground. But Mike soon swerved right back into the fire service industry, joining Peach State Emergency Vehicles as an Emergency Vehicle Sales Rep in 2019.
